Examples of acceptable forms of identification are listed below. To make up the appropriate personal identification you will need to bring one item from the primary photo identification list or one item from the primary non-photo identification and one item from the secondary identification.

Download a membership request form here to become a member.

At Nurses First we offer a range of banking products and services for you to choose from including everyday accounts, goal saver accounts, personal loans, home loans and offset accounts.

Step 3: Transfer your pay to your new Nurses First account

To transfer your pay to your Nurses First account you will need to provide your employer with Nurses First BSB number 806-015, your member number as the account number and the account name.

By electronically depositing at least $500 of your pay directly into a Nurses First Essential Saver Account each month you will qualify for a range of fee free transactions.

If you have funds from any other sources electronically deposited directly into your bank account, such as Centrelink, investment dividends or health fund rebates, you will need to let them know that your bank account details have changed.

To help you with this we have created a template letter - deposits/direct credit which you can send to each organisations. Simply fill in the blank fields in the letter with your old and new account details, print it out, then sign it and send it to everyone who electronically deposits funds into your bank account.

Step 5: Transfer direct debits to your new Nurses First account

You will need to cancel all direct debits coming from your old account (e.g. home and personal loan repayments, credit card repayments, insurance payments, health fund memberships, utility bills, subscriptions etc) and set them up for your new Nurses First account.

To help you with this we have created a template letter - direct debits  for you to send to everyone who is currently taking direct debit payments from your bank account. Simply fill in the blank fields in the letter with your old and new account details, print it out, then sign it and send it to your direct debiting organisations.
