VISA Debit Card

VISA - Important information when travelling overseas!

Some countries overseas have upgraded their card networks to the new “chip and PIN” VISA credit and debit card system. This may cause some confusion with payments made with non-chip and PIN VISA debit and credit cards.

In particular, travellers to the UK should not be concerned about payment at any location in the UK displaying a VISA logo.  All merchants displaying a VISA logo are required to accept any form of VISA payment that is properly presented to them.  Merchants in the UK will continue to accept foreign-issued, non-chip and PIN cards.
