Nurses First is a credit society dedicated to serving the Nursing Community in Victoria. By providing competitive products and friendly, receptive service, we offer a banking alternative where Nurses really do come first.
Nurses First provides a convenient banking service that is unique in our industry. The core element of our service is the provision of convenient, fee free banking solutions. By identifying and utilising the most efficient banking channels, we are able to offer members an everyday banking alternative with absolutely no fees. As an example, if you have at least $500 per month of your pay directed to your account, you will be exempt from all transaction fees. And we are constantly searching for ways to reduce the burden of fees on members and provide other fee free services.
At the same time we are regularly improving and expanding our product range and promoting technology for the benefit of our members. As part of our continuous improvement we regularly conduct research into member satisfaction so that your feedback plays an important role in the development of new products and services.
You can be assured that our aspirations come not through want of profits at the expense of service - as a cooperative, our profits are reinvested back into the society. This enables us to focus solely on helping our members achieve their personal and professional goals and reward them in the form of constantly improving banking solutions, consistently low fees and a strong commitment to service.
In May 07, our parent company Police & Nurses Credit Society was proud to be named the Best Credit Society in Australia by the Australian Banking and Finance Magazine. Considering there are 141 credit societies and credit unions in Australia, we're very happy. In a recent independant survey of our members, we scored a 93% satisfaction rating so we're not only Australia's best credit society, we seem to be the happies one too!
